Recharge Your Summer Fitness Routine...

We are running our usual timetable of classes to help you keep your training regime up to speed at Rush this month, but August can be a busy month of travelling, BBQs, summer garden parties and more. We're here to help you squeeze fun and fitness out of summer.

Planning on bringing the kids to the park for a bounce?

Our exercise classes start at 9.30am in the morning, providing the kids are age 4+ you can still achieve your workout whilst the kids are fully occupied under the same roof!

A perfect morning for both kids and parents where you can combine it all! Coffee and brunch up on the mezzanine in our cafe afterwards is a great incentive. 🥐☕

☀️ August Special Offer ☀️

We are offering new customers a Free Class Trial, please email getfit@rushuk.com and quote “New Customer Free Trial”.

Introduce a friend who is new to fitness classes at Rush and get a free class for yourself if they return and sign up for a paid class (excluding the initial free trial) by end of September.

How to stay fit on holiday... 🌴

1. SWIM SWIM SWIM!!

Great Cardio, low impact and for everyone! If you want to push yourself on the cardio, take 1 length at a normal pace and the 2nd lane with speed and continue this for 10 lengths. Take a 2 minute break and start again. Do this 3 times over (ie. 30 lengths!)

2. RUN, RUN FOR THE SUN!

Barefoot running along a beach is a great workout. Running on sand means less impact on the body, although it is harder to run on the sand and will burn more calories. Don't forget your sun lotion!

3. OWN BODY WEIGHT WORKOUT!

Who needs equipment when you can train just as efficiently with your own body weight? You can do the following exercises either by the pool, on the beach or in your room .. so grab yourself a sun lounger mat or a towel and get on it...

Press Ups

3 Sets of 10 with a 1-minute break in between (body facing down on the floor, arms out shoulder width, on the balls of the feet or on your knees, gently lower the body down to hover above the ground and back up again

Pull Ups

Find a branch or a door frame (or football Goal/climbing frame. 3 Sets of 10 with a 1-minute break in between. Pull your entire body weight up so your chest raises up towards your chest/grip and then lower

Tricep Dips

On the side of the bed/a bench/sun lounger (make sure it’s sturdy!!) Perch your hands on the edge of the apparatus, bend your knees, feet flat on floor, raise hips and slowly lower the body down using only the arms, note arms stay close to the body on lowering down

Work towards 3 sets of 10 Push Ups, Pull Ups and Tricep Dips and you'll have Michelle Obama arms in no time!

🏋️ Have fun! 🏊‍♀️

We'd love to see your workout on the trampolines, or somewhere exotic. Tag us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
